Although traditional package holidays continue to be the top choice, research shows that about one-fifth of 25- to 34-year-olds use smart assistants like virtual planners for travel inspiration.

A poll conducted in the summer showed that double the number of respondents are utilizing AI for holiday planning compared to a year ago.

Currently, 8% of participants said they rely on AI for inspiration, increasing from four percent in the previous year.

Younger Travellers and Wellness

The study further revealed that millennials were the top group to consider a trip as "important for their wellbeing".

Young holidaymakers were also double the chance to choose a brand, lodging, or place based on its eco-friendly policies.
