Chopper Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Frequented California Beach
An aircraft hovering over a well-attended southern California shoreline unexpectedly commenced twirling uncontrollably, eventually dropping height and plunging into a line of palm trees as onlookers observed.
Footage shared on the internet show the aircraft commencing to spiral above the beach then falling in the direction of the edge of the shore, where it gets stuck among palms and a staircase near the coastal road.
Emergency Response Details
The Huntington Beach fire department said five individuals were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the incident on that day.
Three persons on the street were harmed. Details on their injuries were still under review.
What led to the incident was still under investigation.

Authorities said the chopper was linked to an annual “Cars N Copters” charity gathering set for the next day.
